Happy belated new year!

At the beginning of 2019 my goal was to make a Slothilda plush toy. Little did I know the journey towards mass-producing some plushies would end up being a costly and time-consuming process.

When I first set out on this endeavor, I spent weeks online looking for the perfect company to help design a prototype. I read all the reviews, compared vendors, and after agonizing over every detail, I settled on a company that seemed perfect for the job.

After months of eager anticipation, and a whole lot of money, the company I hired presented me with a finished prototype. It was a disaster.

After seeing how terrible the sample came out, I made the difficult decision to cut my losses and walk away. The plush project was over . . . or so I thought!

A few weeks later I received a random message from a fan named Kelly on Instagram (full disclosure: using an alternate name for confidentiality).

She was curious to know if I'd be interested in collaborating on a set of plush toys with BARK - a company with expertise in making plush toys (granted usually for dogs, but plush toys nonetheless)!

My hope was restored. Kelly and the amazing team over at BARK helped me design a new prototype.

Long story short: they knocked it out of the park and helped create the perfect Slothilda AND Peanut plushies! The designs came out better than I could have ever imagined.

It's been a long road, but I'm thrilled to announce the Slothilda & Peanut plushie debut this week! They're soft to the touch, and they even have fun little squeakers inside in case you have fur-babies at home that want in on the fun.

Keep them for yourself, share them with your pets, or give them to a friend. But get them while you can because they're a limited edition, and once these toys are gone, they're gone for good.

You can buy your Slothilda & Peanut plushies at barkshop.com at 10:00 AM this coming Wednesday, January 15th! There are only 500 sets available.

For all of you who have been with me throughout this journey, thanks for your patience and support along the way. It's been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over!

Sloth on,
Dante

P.S. Special shout-out and thanks to the team at BARK! If you've got questions, feel free to comment below (or send me an email at slothilda@slothilda.com), and I'll be more than happy to respond!
